  • Listen to what children/youth are saying about online activities; note any sudden changes in mood such as anger, depression or withdrawal
  • Ask Questions
  • Discuss online safety and privacy practices
  • Encourage youth/children to critically examine messages they receive
  • Talk over current news in an age appropriate manner
